Dogs & Children

the relationship between dogs and kids

Dogs and children can get difficult at times. This is true of all breeds of dogs. Dogs are playful creatures, but children are too, sometimes by mistake. You will notice that the grown human children oooh and aahh whenever the dog is around. That’s not always a problem because they are such happy-go-around types. Some grow up stubbornly and this can be a problem also. But keeping the child and the dog in close contact is good.

How do you keep the youngster in the loop? You can do several things.

First, let them feed the dog. The dog may be happy with this arrangement. How do you go about feeding a dog? Only allow children to feed the dog. Other or even grown up friends can feed the dog. Any relatives can feed the dog. Only adults are qualified to feed the dog. Do not let the youngster feed any dogs that he or she knows.

Second, if your child is going to work with the dog, do not give him or her free food. Rather, give them something the dog loves and is hungry for. After all, you cannot expect the dog to carry out a task or obey a request just because he or she is getting a free lunch.

Third, let the youngster think that the dog gets to eat anything; yes, even wear its collar. And when they put it on, they may not even notice that the dog is not dead.

Fourth, just let the dog be. This is not mean. In fact, allowing your children to do this can teach your dog some things about friendship and respect. They should talk to the dog, not talk down to the dog. Even though dog’s do not speak english you will not need a Translation agency to teach you what they’re saying or how to communicate with them.

Fifth, if you get your dog home when your baby is young, let the dog be, too. But always supervise and keep the baby close to your dog.

Sixth, your child should poke the dog in the stomach. Do not pull it away after it got a belly rub.

Lastly, teach your child how to treat a dog with respect. The same way you would treat any friend or relative.

A dog is a dog and cannot and should not be subjected to abuse. That is the only reason why many dogs get abused.

Not all breeds are suitable for children. They are just kids with canine boils. Some are naturally nervous and aggressive. Just like their masters.

No matter what type of dog you have, or if you have a child and a dog, you should always consider the age of the dog and the age of your child. In fact, you should supervise the child and the dog to keep them safe and healthy.

During the time that you have your dog, have the child learn to be near the dog a lot. Bring them to play with the dog and to feed the dog.

The two of them can become friends, and you will have a best friend for life. Then, when your baby is born, the dog will want to be near your baby. He or she will be an important part of your life and life with your baby.
