The question of the best dog food often bbs in the mind of the Buyer. I know that this can be tricky, because just as an Inherited recommendation by the Veterinarian can be the best thing to feed your dog, it can also be the worst thing to feed your dog. Here I will point out that the difference between good and bad food is often not as straight forward as most people assume.
So first of all, Dog food can be dangerous, and I am not just talking about the typical, household variety of dog food. At ASPCA (The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) pit bull and dog fighting are still illegal. Dog fighting occurs because breeders are still allowed to utilize aggressive tactics. These include setting dogs on their backs, eye luring and intimidating dogs into submission, as well as the always favorite the taunt of putting the Most Dominant Dog in his mouth.
The bad thing about aggressive fighting is that it is still happening today. Another cause of concern in my own observations and opinions, is where the Buyer is coming from. I have sources close to many involved in this massive black market that I can expose to you. Ranging from street vendors, to grocery stores, to untapped pet med stores, to internet chat rooms, and more. All of these places serve as a place “to get a dog”. In this case, unfortunately, “to get a dog”.
So how can we know for sure that we are not getting a high quality dog food, or even medicine for our dog? Because the Askari distorts the market with unregulated, unhealthy dog food producers. The food you choose for your dog to eat, can be the most important factor determining his or her ultimate health. The healthiest of all foods is a homemade diet and can be a gifts handmade or one that is nutritionally beneficial to the owner/guard dog/yearling. So what is this diet? We say nothing about the level of nutritionally beneficial vitamins, nutrients, and minerals in a healthy diet. Most people are already making their own healthy dog food.
The internet is a place where you can research the internet and find articles and other ways to inform yourself and learn more about your dogs diet. I do not have to tell you that the research is well worth while. But folks, there is some information here that could really help you. If you want to start there, than continue on the internet and educate yourself.
